        • Could I buy just the harness for the factory chmsl w/cargo camera??

          Unfortunately we only sell the complete camera kit.

        • I have a 2018 2500 Laramie with the 8.4 radio. I upgraded my 3rd brake light with an OEM LED with cargo camera but I do not have the camera harness. Will your harness included in this kit work on the OEM camera??

          Yes it will. A video splitter is included.

        • I currently have a backup camera on my 2016 Ram 1500. With the splitter, how do I switch between cameras? Will that require programming?

          There is a toggle button under the climate controls.

        • Once I install this do I need the Dealership to program the radiodisplay so it works? I have a 2016 RAM 3500 Laramie, would the harness be in the truck from the factory even if this camera wasn't ordered when the truck was built?

          A video splitter is included. No dealer visit required!

        New Parts

        All new parts and accessories are covered by an FRP 1 year warranty. Our extended warranty only covers new parts and accessories not damaged or damaged due to accidents not caused by human involvement. The 1 year warranty does not apply to any USED or RE-MANUFACTURED parts.

        Used/Refurbished Parts

        Used and refurbished parts are restricted to a 14 day return policy starting from the day the customer receives their item. Restrictions do apply and are subject to FRP discretion based on availability and condition part was original purchased. We ask our customers to please read and understand these terms before making a purchase.  

        FRP Returns

        All orders are subject to a 14 day return policy. If  the 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. You must contact our Support department by the end of the 13th day after your purchase date to receive your return label. See "Shipping" section below.

        To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused (if new) and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

        Refunds (if applicable)

        Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
        If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment; typically within 7-10 business days.


        Repairs (if applicable)

        All repairs come with a strict 14 day return/refund policy. If 14 days have gone by since your repair, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or extended repair services. You must contact our Support department by the end of the 13th day after your repair date to receive additional support. Please contact: support@factoryradiorepairs.com.

        To be eligible for additional warranty repair services, your item must be unused (if new) and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

        Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

        If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check with your bank account or credit card provider. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted: 7-10 business days.

        Sale items (if applicable)

        Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

        Exchanges (if applicable)

        We only replace items if they are received defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for an identical item, please send us an email to suport@factoryradioparts.com.

        Please include the following information:

        Name and/or Order Number

        Three clear images: 

        1. Shipping label on package

        2. Damage to package

        3. Damage to part

        Further instructions will be provided on how to successfully complete our simple Exchange process.


        If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

        If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
