you will need to disassemble screen assembly to see what touch screen type is being used. There are two options

If you actually watch the video, at marker 1:38 it shows how to use a razor blade to separate the touchscreen from the lcd! Putting it back on how you took it off is common sense in order for proper use.
How to identify what type of ribbon cable?

What's going on with the razor blade? Are you separating the screen from the housing? If so what are the steps for removing it and replacing with the new screen?

It's one of two types that can be used. You will need to dissassemble your screen assmeblu to know what type is being used

Does this require dealer reprogramming after unplugging the radio for installation. Also is this a fairly easy installation
No dealer programming required when replacing a touch screen.
Is this just a piece of glass ? No plugs or anything else to it ? I was told this would repair the clicking screen and changing radio stations on its own . I’m just making sure I received the right part. It’s just a piece of glass to replace and that will resolve th issue

My Silverado is experiencing “phantom” touches. I’ve read it’s most likely the screen digitizer. Is that included in the replacement screen?
