I cannot find the replacement “part #” label on my cars touch screen part and compare it to the number on your site? How do I know the parts will match exactly?
It is the correct part needed for the sync 2 radio system.
I have an unresponsive touchscreen on a 2015 Ford Edge, but it displays correctly. Is there any way to determine that the touchscreen itself is defective? Is there a high probability that the screen has failed?
A unresponsive touch screen is 100% a defective touch screen only.
I have an edge and the screen jumps around through the different media without being touched. It will be on FM for a minute and then jump to Bluetooth for a short time then AM, XM, etc. not necessarily in that order. Is this a touch screen issue?
Yes it does sound like a touchscreen related issue
Do i need to apply double sided tape to the new digitizer to install it? In your how-to video it does not look like it was used when putting the digitizer and the lcd back together.
It is only necessary if no adhesive is left over or present
Hi, do you know if I need to reprogram the sync 2 system after the replacement? I know we have to unplug the LCD part and plug it back. Thanks!

Hi there, I tried rubbing a small scratch on my screen with my finger and it made it worse. Then I made a bigger mistake and tried to fix that. So its at the very bottom of the screen and the home icon is blurry. Is there any way to cover or replace the polarizer or do I nned this to replace the screen? Thanks Joe
You can try a screen protector however they are clear so the scratches may still be visible. It's recommended that it be replaced.
I purchased a new touch screen from you awhile back for a cracked screen replacement it has never worked correctly . You can only get a couple of touches on it before it doesn't do anything anymore and I was having to hit the volume button on my steering wheel to get it to input the action I touched. It has now stopped responding to touch all together. The screen still displays everything correctly. Any input on what I need to be replacing. I tried doing the Ford Sync reset by holding the power button and the seek up at the same time. Sorry should have mentioned what type of vehicle. 2012 Ford F150 Platinum with navigation .Thanks for any input Ross Steinke

i have a 2003 ford edge. the screen is cracked but still everything is viewable I am unable to touch and make it work. Is it possible that this replacement screen will fix my screen? again everything is viewable still i just am unable to access anything on the screen when touching

I have a black screen when I touch the screen it makes the sound of features being enabled and disabled but the screen is dead is this the part I’ve bin looking for or is this just the part that processes touch?
